Today’s poem
CHAMPION OF CHEERFULNESS
I’m champion of cheerfulness I’m cheerful every day If others do not like it Then let them go away. I’m cheerful in the morning, I’m cheerful in the night, Who cares for moaning Minnies Who wallow in their plight? And even as I’m writing I’m skipping to and fro, I’m moving like a dancer. Yarooh! I’ve stubbed my toe. I’m moaning in my misery ’Cause I was having fun, I think I’ll take an aspirin. My cheerful day is done. J. Bryant, Worthing, W. Sussex.
