DIRECTOR’S DEALS

- Kevin Loosemore, 58 Executive chairman, Micro Focus

KEVIN Loosemore has bought £1.1m shares in Micro Focus.

Loosemore, the software firm’s largest individual investor, took advantage of a recent dip in the company’s value to buy 49,000 shares at 2170.6p each. He was appointed executive chairman in 2011 and was previously president of Motorola Europe, Middle East and Africa, and chief executive of IBM. Shares in Micro Focus fell last week after poor results cast doubt over its planned £6.6bn deal to acquire HP’s software assets later this year.
