CARLY TELFORD Chelsea. Age 30; Caps 8. The most down-to-earth girl who always has a smile on her face. A super player, bubbly and brings a lot to the squad. DEFENDERS LAURA BASSETT Unattached. Age 33; Caps 62; Goals 2. A huge leader for us, she wears her heart on her sleeve and puts her body on the line every time she trains or plays. She really brings the best out of the group. LUCY BRONZE Manchester City. Age 25; Caps 44; Goals 5. A powerhouse, onene of our main players. One of thehe best in the world and PFA Player of the Year says it all. Now she’s adding goals to her game which is massive. Drives us forward, really sets the tempo. STEPH HOUGHTON Manchester City. Age 29; Caps 86; Goals 9. Do I really have to say this?! I would like to say a leader who loves the game and loves playing for my country. I like to lead by example. ALEX GREENWOOD Liverpool. Age 23; Caps 23; Goals 2. Got a wand of a left foot. She’s had a tough time in the last couple of months with injuries but now she’s back fully fit and flying. Her technical ability on the ball is world-class. JO POTTER Reading. Age 32; Caps 31; Goals 3. Another technical player and very versatile. Can play at the back and can play in midfield. She’s an experienced member of the squad and is very good at reading the game. ALEX SCOTT Arsenal. Age 32; Caps 139; Goals 12 Bags of experience, with so many caps. She has been the name in women’s football for a long, time and that will continue. She’s energetic, fit, and she’s a very attacking full back. DEMI STOKES Manchester City. Age 25; Caps 37; Goals 1 She’s strong, powerful, reliable, consistent and probably one of the hardest workers in our squad. As a professional, she’s top-class. CASEY STONEY Liverpool. IZZY CHRISTIANSEN Man City. Age 25; Caps 14; Goals 4. A very technical player, very physical, box-to-box midfielder and she can score goals. Being a team-mate at Man City I know what she brings — she’s a complete player. JADE MOORE Reading. Age 26; Caps 37; Goals 1. Jade sits in front of the back four and breaks things up. She does the nasty work that people don’t really want to do. She is an aggressive player. Jade is very fit and physical and she likes to break up play. JORDAN NOBBS Arsenal. Age 24; Caps 42; Goals 5. Another box-to-box midfielder, Jordan has tons and tons of energy. She’s my vice-captain and a real leader in terms of how she leads by example on the pitch. She’s got great passion and is always willing to learn. FARA WILLIAMS Arsenal. Age 33; Caps 163; Goals 40. Our most experienced player. You need people like Fara in your team, her knowledge is some- thing we’ll have to rely on when it comes to tournaments like this and she’s unbelievable at finding solutions in the heat of the moment and someone who I really lean on. JILL SCOTT Manchester City. Age 30; Caps 121; Goals 18. Jill’s the joker of the team. But she’s a top- class footballer too. The youngest member of the squad and she’s a lovely, bubbly girl. She could be our surprise package at these Euros. JODIE TAYLOR Arsenal. Age 31; Caps 25; Goals 9. A clinical forward. When she has her chances she tends to take them. She makes really good runs in behind and she can mix it up too. Her experience of playing around the world will cause defences problems.
