NUTRITION bar maker Science in Sport saw a 28pc leap in sales to £8.3m over the first half of the year despite tough trading conditions.
The firm, which makes nutrition products for athletes, has invested heavily in international markets and expects revenues to accelerate.
Boss Stephen Moon said: ‘We have good momentum and together with our healthy innovation pipeline, we expect to have a strong second half.’ Shares rose 2.8pc, or 2.5p, to 91p.
