Second-class citizen
I AM surprised that the overseas development aid budget is being used to provide healthcare on the NHS for asylum seekers (Mail).
As a UK citizen, I have paid my taxes since the age of 15 years yet am being denied stem cell treatment for an incurable, but treatable, blood disorder.
This means I am being treated less favourably than someone who has made no contribution to the health or social care system.
The average state pension for someone who has paid 40 years of contributions is about £8,000 a year, but some recently arrived immigrants can claim thousands more in benefits.
When will we stop this discrimination against our own citizens?
