Toothless watchdog
SURELY if the BBC’s programmes were good enough, it would not need to have so- called stars to front them; the shows themselves should attract audiences.
Impartial, quality programming should be the BBC’s main aim as a public service broadcaster. It has become too large and appears to be unaccountable.
The watchdog is toothless and allows the BBC to steer its most important output, the news, to its own political agenda. DAVE JOHNS, Brighton, E. Sussex.
