BUY THIS: Ceres Power

ANALYSTS at Berenberg recommend buying clean energy firm Ceres Power.

Ceres makes cells which convert fuel directly into electricity and has so far secured blue-chip customers such as Honda, Nissan, and Cummins.

Berenberg said Ceres’ existing partnerships make it well positioned to benefit from expected annual growth in the fuel cell market of 25pc between 2016 and 2024.

SELL THIS: Pearson

LIBERUM thinks it’s time to sell embattled education publisher Pearson.

The firm is in the middle of a restructuring on the back of several profit warnings as it continues to lose out to cheaper internet rivals in the US education market.

Liberum said these competition problems mean Pearson is ‘structurally endangered’.

The broker has lowered its target price for the stock to 330p from 360p.
