A feudal system

FOLLOWING a Mail campaign, selling new homes on a ‘feudal’ leasehold basis is to be banned. This contemptible practice has exposed unwitting buyers to spiralling ground rents which have made their homes hugely expensive to run and almost impossible to sell.

The scandal has been dubbed ‘the PPI of the housebuilding industry’. This ban is long overdue.
