THE number of children being excluded from primary schools is on the rise. But is this because children are being naughtier than ever, or because schools are getting less tolerant of bad behaviour? There is a growing need for short-term schools, which take the children that other schools won’t in the hope of helping them to change their behaviour and turn their lives around. Filmed over two terms at such a school in Norfolk, this enormously touching Cutting Edge film follows the six pupils in its youngest class (including Stella, Jordan, Harvey, Adam and Alfie, pictured) to gain an insight into what it feels like to

be expelled at just seven.
