Class war

-

I WAS enjoying my grandson’s endof-term prize-giving until the headteacher saw fit to make a political statement. She said the school needed more money and she hoped the next time we were all together, ‘things would be better government wise’. The vicar then felt it was his duty to say much the same thing.

I have no problem with people, including teachers, having different views to me, but I object to being lectured. There is a duty to teach our children without trying to impose political views on them. Now I know why on polling day, my grandson came out of school and said that he would never vote for Theresa May.
