Debt junkies

I USED to believe that reducing the deficit was important because I didn’t want to saddle my grandchildren with a crippling mountain of debt.

However, it seems the younger generation aren’t bothered about that, so why should I be? They aren’t even concerned about their personal debt, so their attitude to the national debt shouldn’t be a surprise. So I’m going to vote Labour and look forward to consuming as much of the improved public services as I can lay my hands on. BOB SCOTT, Sutton Coldfield, W. Mids.
