Will Craig be Bond in 2019?

HE has said he’d rather slash his wrists than make another James Bond film.

But Daniel Craig, pictured, may well be returning in 2019 to play the world’s most famous spy.

For creators have confirmed that the latest instalment – the 25th Bond film – will be released in two years’ time.

A statement from bosses on Tuesday said that Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli will return as producers. However a director, distributor and full cast have yet to be announced.

While bookmaker Coral still tips Craig, 49, as the favourite to play 007, it also names Dunkirk actor Tom Hardy as a close second, followed by Poldark star Aidan Turner. Charlize Theron, Gillian Anderson and Emily Blunt are among suggestions for a first ever female 007.
