Nazneen Chattun

CHATTUN, 55, from Hounslow in West London, was jailed in January this year for stealing more than £170,000 from a 95-year-old woman she was caring for on behalf of Hounslow council.

She obtained power of attorney over the woman and cashed 71 cheques in her name. After the pensioner was admitted to hospital, it was found her home had no heating and she wasn’t eating or cleaning herself properly. Chattun was convicted of three counts of theft, totalling £171,455, and jailed for two years and four months.
