Titanic lovers reunite to protect the icebergs
THEIR whirlwind romance in the Oscar-winning film Titanic was curtailed by a collision with an iceberg. Now 20 years on, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet have reunited this week in St Tropez to save those perilous icebergs from melting.
Leo, 42, was hosting his annual fundraising gala to protect the environment from climate change, and was joined on stage by Kate, 41, in a plunging black dress. Despite their on-screen chemistry, in real life their romantic lives have taken very different paths. While playboy Leo remains unmarried, Kate has three children, one by each of her husbands. They have remained close friends since Titanic, and when Leo scooped an Oscar last year, she was right by his side. ‘I keep getting emotional when I talk about Leo,’ she admits.
