Upstanding gentleman

I WAS shocked but not surprised that no one offered a train seat to a woman who was having to breastfeed standing up (Mail).

Once I was strap-hanging on a crowded bus holding my six-week-old baby and the driver came out of his cab and told all the passengers that the bus was not going anywhere until someone offered me a seat.

There were a few angry words from the male passenger sitting right next to me, but a young man at the rear of the bus shouted out that I could have his seat. How brave of the driver to take on all those passengers.
