Clarifications & corrections

A HARDCASTLE diary item on July 19 stated that chris tarrant was travelling on a budget airline flight from crete which was diverted from Gat wick to stansted. We now accept that Mr tarrant had not been on crete and was not on the flight in question. We apologise for the error.
