AS he rarely tires of telling us, he never tires of his very active sex life with his wife of 25 years.
But in a St Tropez nightclub’s VIP room, Sting’s public display of affection for Trudie Styler risked clearing the dance floor.
The singer, 65, wore a black and red striped T-shirt as he embraced, kissed and danced with Miss Styler, 63.
Much to the embarrassment of their children, the yoga fanatics, who married in 1992, have infamously suggested they enjoy epic tantric sex, swinging parties and strip clubs.
The former Police star made global headlines in 1990 when he said they enjoyed lovemaking for several hours.
He has since rowed back on the comment but has said that there was some truth to it.
‘The idea of tantric sex is a spiritual act,’ he said in one interview. ‘I don’t know any purer and better way of expressing a love for another individual than sharing that Early days: The couple in their youth wonderful, I call it, “sacrament”. I would stand by it. Not seven hours, but the idea.’ But in 2011, Miss Styler said her husband’s original claim was a drunken boast made in a boozy joint interview alongside Bob Geldof. The couple have four children, while Sting has two from his first marriage.
