My home from home for fox cubs

- Mrs R. M. BENTLEY, Sutton, Surrey.

EVERY morning and evening, between six and eight fox cubs sit in my back garden waiting for food. One very bold one even comes up to my patio door (pictured). I go into the garden with a tin of food and have their full attention. The bravest fox will take a morsel of food off the toe of my shoe. The fox cubs will take a nap in my garden if they find a warm, sunny spot, and two or three spend the night in a plant tub outside my bedroom window.
