Do you have the £51m lotto jackpot ticket?

- By Fiona Parker

A EUROMILLIONS jackpot worth more than £51million won by a British punter is still unclaimed after seven days.

Lottery operator Camelot will reveal where the ticket was bought next week to jog the winner’s memory if they have not come forward by then.

The lucky ticket for last Friday’s draw netted £51,702,049 with the numbers 5, 9, 29, 31, 41 and Lucky Stars 2 and 4.

Its holder has 180 days to claim the prize or lose the chance to become almost as rich as music star Ed Sheeran, who has a £52million fortune. A Camelot spokesman said: ‘Winners claim prizes at all different points in the claim period. Some people save their tickets and check them all at once every few weeks or months.

‘In addition, it’s holiday season so you could speculate the lucky ticket-holder is away and has yet to check their ticket.’

In 2012 a ticket holder from Hertfordshire failed to claim a £63.8million prize. The sum was given to charities through the National Lottery Good Causes.
