Former fatty Falconer: I’m obsessed with my weight

TONY Blair’s former flatmate Charlie Falconer, who has dramatically slimmed down from 16st in 2012 to 11st today, admits his drastic health regime is driving him bonkers.

The Labour peer says he weighs himself many times a day and has become preoccupied with running apps on his smartphone.

‘ It has become much too obsessive and I’m very worried about that,’ Lord Falconer says. ‘I began to think everybody was trying to make me eat. My family thought it had all gone too far.’

He even dehydrates himself before going on the scales to shave off a few extra ounces.

The peer, who eats numerous apples and drinks ten cans of Diet Coke each day, says: ‘I’m sure I will go back to being 17 or 18st and am in a constant state of anxiety.’ Give that man a cream cake.
