£70m takeover windfall

PAYSAFE has agreed a £3bn takeover by Blackstone and CVC Capital Partners – landing the management team a £70m windfall.

The online payments firm’s board said yesterday it had agreed on the terms of the 590p per share offer, and unanimously recommended that shareholders accept the deal. Shares broke 600p for the first time yesterday before finishing at 594.5p.
