ADVOCAAT BACKS REBEL VAN DIJK

HOLLAND manager Dick Advocaat has waded into the row between Southampton and Virgil van Dijk, urging the club to grant the player’s wish for a summer move. The £50million Dutch defender is keen on going to Liverpool and Advocaat said: ‘You can condemn it (Van Dijk’s actions) but, come on, if you can earn five times as much at a top English club I understand that.’
