BATTAASH is on a high-speed collision course with US flyer Lady Aurelia after blowing away his rivals in the Qatar King George Stakes at Goodwood.

The pair will clash in the Group One Nunthorpe Stakes at York on August 25. Trainer Charlie Hills labelled 9-2 shot Battaash a ‘serious speedball’ after his two-and-a- quarter length victory from 9-4 favourite Profitable.

Paddy Power make US-trained Lady Aurelia 7-4 favourite and spokesman Paul Binfield said: ‘It will be like Usain Bolt taking on Justin Gatlin.’
