Clarifications & corrections

A diAry item on July 31 (‘ david Mellor’s smoking-hot date with a lady in red’) showed pictures of Mr Mellor with a ‘mystery brunette’. We have been asked to make clear that Mr Mellor is not having an affair with the lady pictured and that the ‘date’ in question was a business lunch with two other guests. We are happy to set the record straight.
