With a ciggie in one hand, a cocktail in the other and hugging a Corbyn supporter, meet our ex-PM in full chillaxing mode

- By George Odling

HAVING run the country for more than six years, he prides himself on his multi-tasking abilities.

So former Prime Minister David Cameron wasn’t worried about taking on more than he could handle as he balanced a cigarette, a drink and a rather enthusiastic Jeremy Corbyn fan all at the same time.

In fact Mr Cameron looked perfectly at ease as he juggled all three as he attended the upmarket Wilderness Festival near his Oxforshire home.

Despite previously claiming to have been ‘relatively successful’ in quitting smoking, he appears to have taken it up again.

The picture was uploaded on Instagram by a festival goer alongside the caption: ‘Couldn’t have even planned it. Big Dave C in the house, shame he can’t read.’

Mr Cameron, 50, also turned up in festival-goers Vanessa and Steve Price’s selfie. As they checked their camera after posing, they noticed a familiar face looking into the lens from a few yards behind them. The former Tory premier, who was with his wife Samantha, did not appear to be enjoying Friday’s set – by Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit.

Mrs Price, a Labour Party activist, said: ‘We couldn’t believe it. We were taking a selfie and he looked right at the camera.’ Mrs Price, 47, a councillor in Stroud, Gloucestershire, and her 44-year- old fireman husband have campaigned against Mr Cameron when he was MP for Witney but had never met him in the flesh. Mr Cameron, now an after- dinner speaker, regularly attends the £190 three-day festival.
