ANIMAL RESCUE LIVE: SUPERVET SPECIAL, 8PM, CH4

PROFESSOR Noel Fitzpatrick, Kate Quilton and Steve Jones (right) are on a mission. Broadcasting live from the Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter over the next five nights, their aim is to find permanent homes for the animals living there, and at other rescue centres around the country. The trio will be introducing a menagerie of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, parrots, horses and pigs, and calling on us to offer them the loving homes they deserve. How can you resist?
