Lee’s sons spark Luton romp

-

FORMER England and Newcastle star Rob Lee was the proudest football dad on Saturday after his two sons, Olly and Elliot, both scored in Luton’s thumping 8-2 home win over Yeovil. Isaac Vassell, nephew of former England striker Darius, also scored twice. James Collins hit a hattrick on his debut and Alan McCormack, who also scored, said: ‘When you’ve got strikers who do that you’re in for a very good season.’ Yeovil’s players and staff will refund the 258 fans who travelled to Luton. LINCOLN defender Sean Raggett was hailed by boss Danny Cowley after the club’s return to the Football League ended in a 2-2 draw at WYCOMBE. Raggett, who has been the subject of transfer speculation, thanked fans at full-time. ‘That he played says everything about him because he had a lot of people in his ear telling him not to,’ Cowley said.
