Hannes Ametsreiter, 50 CEO, Vodafone Germany

THE boss of Vodafone Germany has just bought shares worth £ 370,000 in the mobile network.

Hannes Ametsreiter, a former executive of Telekom Austria, bought 163,053 shares in Vodafone Group at about 225p each. The 50-year-old married father of two was required to buy the shares under Vodafone’s incentive plans for its senior man- agers. Ametsreiter, who was born in Salzburg, was also awarded £2.2m worth of shares as part of Vodafone’s remuneration programme.
