Striking gift from Sultan of Oman

THIS striking choker and crescentshaped earrings — part of a set which also included a diamond bracelet — were given to Diana by the Sultan of Oman during the royal couple’ s tour of the Gulf States in 1986.

Pictured here at a charity performance of Cinderella at the Royal Opera House in 1987, Diana adored the distinctly modern design.
