CAROLANN Gallon stood out as a member of the gang for being white and female.
Aged 1 when she joined the gang and now 20, she was responsible for luring other girls into its clutches, and became central to the police investigation.
Officers were not sure at first whether she was working with the abusers or was one of their victims.
The decision to prosecute her went all the way up to the Director of Public Prosecutions, before it was decided she was an active gang member.
Gallon has admitted three offences of trafficking children for the purposes of exploitation and will be sentenced next month.
Frightened neighbours in a local authority-owned block of flats have been trying to get her evicted since she was charged in 2015.
She was said to have held noisy late night parties.
