BY FAR the priciest of the stores I visited — my budget stretched to only one outfit — but if I could, I’d be a regular.

The stylist was lovely, with a great eye, a natural warmth and the kind of forthright nature that makes a personal shopper worth her name.

In the changing suite, I felt both pampered and relaxed. There were so many outfits I could have bought that when we had finished, I found myself actually braving the shop floor and enjoying it because it was so well laid out.

Oddly, this was the only store that didn’t ask for details in advance. The stylist told me you need to see and speak to a person before you can advise them. And she was right. 4/5 Khaki lace dress by Set, £265
