LOOK for cups, in-built structure or draping. Most of us can’t carry off the second-skin look.

GO FOR strong bright colours or bold colour blocking, and cut-outs or mesh panels if you dare.

WIDE, low-cut backs will make you look broad. Pick one that stops well above the curve of your spine or even at bra-strap level.

AVOID fancy straps and high necklines, or your tan lines will look like Spaghetti Junction.
