Relay stars target solo success

DINA ASHER-SMITH says Britain’s women’s 4x100m world relay silver can spur on the quartet to shine as individuals. Asher-Smith said: ‘Asha Philip and me are European champions, hopefully we can now do it worldwide as well.’ Asher-Smith and Philip teamed up with Desiree Henry and Daryll Neita (above) to finish second behind the USA. Neita said: ‘The fact we were able to get so close to the Americans shows we have a lot of individual speed.’
