BACK THREE GIVES PEP A LICENCE TO THRILL

THREE at the back is the perfect system for Manchester City. It allows them to get their goalscorers in the team.

Given the ammunition Kyle Walker and — when fit —Benjamin Mendy will supply from wing back, Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus (above) should score at least 20 goals each.

Aguero looked so sharp against Brighton and Jesus was unlucky not to find the net himself, having two goals disallowed.

Those two should fuel City’s title challenge but, as ever, it will only work if Aguero and Vincent Kompany can stay fit.
