Now you can sleep on a plane AND be comfy

-

TAKING a travel pillow on your holiday flight seems like such a good idea — until you wake up with a terrible crick in your neck.

The traditional Ushape just can’t quite support your head properly, however much you toss and turn.

But now there are lots of innovative new designs that, the makers claim, can help you to get good and restful sleep no matter what position you prefer to snooze in.

The inflatable Woollip pillow sits on your tray table and provides a firm support so you can rest your head on the top — with a space for your face to peek through (£17.99, ebay.co.uk).

Then there’s the Huzi infinity pillow, a long loop of squashy cushioned material that you can twist into lots of different ways to suit how you want to sleep (£49.99, relax-uk.com). The J- Pillow ( left), meanwhile, named for its hooked ‘J ’ shape, will simultaneously support your head, neck and shoulders (£15.95, amazon.co.uk). Finally, if you can’t sleep in anything but perfect darkness, try the Ostrich Pillow (below). You slip it over your head, like an ostrich burying its head in the sand, and it both cushions you and works as a sleep mask (£65.95, proidee. co.uk).
