THERE was plenty of room for improvement at low-cost home improvement firm Epwin Group yesterday after it issued a full-year profit warning.

Epwin, which makes porches and home essentials like window frames and chimneys, has been hit by rising material prices this year.

It has also seen a drop in activity in the UK home improvement market and encountered potential supply issues at two major clients.

Shares fell 19.5pc, or 18.5p, to 76.5p, an all-time low.
