Sales before safety?
ON A recent Ryanair flight to Ibiza from Liverpool, I was unlucky enough to experience the drunken behaviour of a party of male passengers.
They were noisy — shouting and swearing — and wouldn’t sit down when the seatbelt sign was switched on.
One of them threw drink miniatures across the cabin, with one bottle hitting my seat.
I complained three times to the cabin crew, but they ignored my concerns and kept selling alcohol to
the men. Some of the drinks orders came to over £80. The crew seemed more focused on making sales than dealing with the bad behaviour.
