Legal aid shame

HOW disgusting to read that Afghan interpreters, who assisted the British Army, won’t get legal aid to argue their case to stay in Britain (Mail).

What is the matter with our legal system when convicted criminals are given legal aid to appeal against deportation, while these interpreters are in obvious peril of being killed or tortured if they are forced to return to Afghanistan?
