The star midfielder in Kevin Keegan’s Newcastle side, Lee played 837 times and scored 123 goals in a 22-year career. He started at Charlton and later moved to Derby, West Ham, Oldham and Wycombe. Lee won 21 England caps, scoring two goals, and played at the 1998 World Cup.
