My journey was half-an-hour longer but the excitement of the derby didn’t let me get annoyed by it. We settled in the Green Man, our new matchday boozer, until around 3pm. Tottenham have done a great job of Spurs-ifying the ground with flags and COYS signage everywhere, and familiar faces in the staff. The atmosphere is on a different level from the European games last year. There was a cacophony of noise as our boys came out of the tunnel next to the two gold cockerels from the Lane. Sadly the reality of being a Spurs fan hit as Chelsea stunned us on the break to snatch a 2-1 win. STAR MAN: MOUSA DEMBELE
