Bonnie had to sing that song

BONNIE Tyler entertained cruise ship passengers with her hit song Total Eclipse Of The Heart during the solar eclipse yesterday.

The 66-year-old Welsh singer – pictured speaking to a US TV channel from the ship hours before – belted out the 1983 Number One on the Oasis Of The Seas cruise in the Caribbean, which had departed from Florida on Sunday.

She told Time magazine before the performance: ‘It’s going to be so exciting. It doesn’t happen very often, does it?’ Miss Tyler had to rearrange the song, which is usually over four minutes long, to fit the time the sun was totally covered – two minutes and 40 seconds.
