THE resurgence of vin yl records in the UK boos ted wholesaler MBL Group in the 12 months to March.

The firm’s home entertainment division – which sells records, CDs and DVDs – took in revenues of £9.5m this year, up from £8.9m in 2016.

However, the group – which also sells garden produc ts – suffered an o verall loss of £158,000 as it continued to try and sell off its tr ading businesses following a s trategic review. Shares rose 48.4pc, or 5.75p, to 17.62p.
