REALITY BITES AT BRENTFORD

AFTER four games, Brentford are bottom of the Championship, but do not worry. This is only the real league table, the one that actually decides relegation. No doubt at Griffin Park, there is another table, based on expected goal value or some other worthier calculation, that informs them it is all going swimmingly. No doubt in that league, Nottingham Forest — now managed by Mark Warburton (left), the man Brentford dismissed after getting them into the play-offs — are not really fourth, either.
