YES, it’s at the pricier end of the scale, but this tote is worth every penny. Handmade from the finest Italian calf leather, this bag has a special pocket containing an integral phone and tablet battery charger pack, meaning you can charge devices on the go.

There’s also a padded compartment for a tablet and two concealed external pockets. Its shape and size means that everything is easily accessible, with room to spare.

The only downfall is that it’s a top handle bag, which can get extremely heavy once loaded (the fact that it’s made of leather with metal fittings doesn’t help). It is also a little bulky for an evening.

STYLE RATING: 10/10 The black and white is classic.

PRACTICAL RATING: 9/10 That mobile charger is incredibly useful.

COMFORT RATING: 6/10 It’s a shame you can’t wear it over your shoulder.
