The death of controversial Uber founder Travis Kalanick’s mother was used to oust him as chief executive, an investor has claimed.
Start-up backer Shervin Pishevar argued that Bonnie Kalanick’s demise earlier this year triggered a ‘secretive and personal assault on her son’ by fellow shareholder Benchmark Capital.
Benchmark is suing Travis Kalanick over claims he is trying to block recruitment of a new chief executive.
