Cost of absent patients

LAST week, I had a medical procedure that took four hours and involved 12 health professionals. There were posters revealing that hundreds of thousands of pounds are lost each year by non-attendance in just this one hospital.

Multiply that nationwide, and disrespectful patients are costing the NHS millions.
