scored two late goals to beat Germany 4-2 and secure bronze at the EuroHockey Championship in Amsterdam. Mats Grambusch put the Germans ahead before Barry Middleton and captain Ian Sloan gave England the lead before halftime. Lukas Windfeder’s fifth goal of the tournament brought Germany level, but Mark Gleghorne and Phil Roper scored in the last 10 minutes to bring England men’s first major medal since 2011.
