Their first challenge of three is to bake a fruity cake, using fresh, not dried fruit — ‘It’s not a very easy start,’ admits Prue. (But just wait until you see the ‘illusion cakes’ they bake for challenge three). Fans will be relieved to see that, apart from the obvious personnel changes, all is exactly as the BBC left it — even Prue’s fellow ‘newbies’, Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding, are really rather good as Mel and Sue.
