Cold Feet Fay won’t undress for anyone

+ACTRESS Fay Ripley won’t be stripping off in Cold Feet as she and co- star hermione Norris have a note in their contracts that says they won’t appear on screen in a swimming costume.

Fay, 51, says: ‘i don’t know if the clause ever made it but hermione and i made it very clear that unless they put a gun to our heads, we won’t be wearing a swimsuit on screen. i won’t wear a swimsuit in front of my husband, poor guy, so i’m not going to be doing it for the nation.

‘Cold Feet is an uplifting show — i don’t want to bring the nation down!’ Fay, pictured, who is also a cookery writer, adds: ‘i don’t diet and i don’t exercise. i’m aware that i need to do both and i don’t quite understand why. literally, i can’t walk down the street for 50year-old women in jogging pants sweating, and i can see in the mirror i need to be one of them but i don’t have that motivation. ‘i just enjoy my life so much, why would i want to ruin it with sweating and being hungry?’
