Felicity’s daring crop-top — at 70!
SHE caused a stir when she wore ripped denim jeans while out shopping last year.
Now Felicity Kendal, 70, has upped the style stakes with a belly-baring crop top and jeans covered in patches and sewn-on polothemed badges.
The shabby chic look hearkened back to the days when she played Barbara in 1970s sitcom The Good Life – tending the chickens or digging her vegetable patch in old clothes.
The mother-of-two was spotted out and about in London on Wednesday.
She showed off her midriff in a baggy dark blue shirt tied at the bottom, teamed with a gold necklace and a red leather handbag. She was wearing £199 Ralph Lauren Patch Detail Boyfriend Jeans, which are sold by Asos – a website popular with young women.
They are also sold at Harrods for £200. The description on the Ralph Lauren website reads: ‘Roll up the cuffs and wear them with heels to complete the borrowed-from-the-boys look with feminine flair.’
It has been three years since Miss Kendal revealed she had given up Botox treatments for a more natural look.
She said at the time: ‘There comes a point where you have to match bits of you with the other bits.’
